Here is another great tip for a successful beginning using ASL baby sign language!
Ask your child what they want using baby sign! Then meet their needs. This helps to develop a two way conversation and allows the parent to meet their little one’s needs quicker in the future!
For example: you may know your little wants milk! Try asking, “Are you wanting some milk?” while empathizing the word milk verbally and through signing! Then give your little what they want after you ask for the sign!
